The development comprised 9 flats and 3 houses sited on a pair of existing plots with direct access to the A25 Reigate Road.
The site’s location at the base of Box Hill & adjacent to a conservation area provided the Deepdene development with panoramic views towards the Surrey Hills and Denbys Vineyard.
This degree of exposure lead to a layout comprising 4 distinct blocks using the ‘Arts & Crafts’ style.
Careful detailing was necessary to adapt traditional details to suit building methods compliant with thermal & sound requirements required by legislation.
